In April 2011, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv in partnership with the Representative of the Romanian Orthodox Church to Jerusalem and Allegretto Foundation, present a series of concerts dedicated to the youngest public in Israel, performed by the "Allegretto" youth and children´s choir.
"Allegretto" choir, one of the best in Romania, promotes young musical talents through musical education and performances in Romania and abroad. Their repertory comprises a wide variety of musical pieces from all over the World. For the Israeli tour, they selected also several songs in Hebrew language, that will be interpreted by 14 children and young singers directed by prof. Adriana Codreanu.
Concerts schedule:
• 7-9 April, Eilat, the international Festival&Contest "Red Sea Joys"
• 11 April, 20:00 hrs., "Ramat Eshkol" Cultural Center in Jerusalem. The show will be attended by high officials from the Municipality, the diplomatic corps and representatives of the Conservatory in Jerusalem. This event was organized in cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality (The "Rose" Musical Library).
• 13 April, 8:30 hrs., "Heichal HaTarbut" Rishon LeZion, as a part of the annual event "Ha´irua Mukdash Le´iriat". This event was organized in cooperation with the Rishon LeZion Municipality.
• 14 April, 18:00 hrs., Netanya, "Beit Yohanan" concert hall. The show will feature songs performed by the "Allegretto" choir and by the "Nitzan" children´s choir from Netanya. The show will be attended by the staff of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, Mrs. Miriam Feierberg-Ikar the Mayor of Netanya and H.E. Edward Iosiper, The Romanian Ambassador in Israel. This event was organized in cooperation with the Netanya Municipality.
