The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv participated with its own desk at the event dedicated to the Europe Day on May 11 in Jerusalem.
At the desk, students and staff were provided with the many opportunities and services RCI Tel Aviv are providing, materials were distributed, new members were registered and more. The event was held from 10:00 to 16:00 at Mt. Scopus Campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Social Sciences and was followed by a conference.
Annually organised by the European Forum at the Hebrew University, the events bring together students and staff for a celebration of Europe in its unity in diversity, exposing as many people as possible to the Member States of the European Union, their culture, history, politics, economics and more. Europe Day 2011 combined a Eurofest, day-long festival, and a conference on the challenges lying ahead for Europe in the aftermath of the Lisbon Treaty adoption and recent global events.
