The documentary film „Digging for Life” by Pavel Cuzuioc will be presented, with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, at the 14th edition of DOCAVIV International Film Festival (3 - 12 May 2012, Tel Aviv Cinematheque).„Digging for Life” describes the everyday life of the gravediggers from the “Doina” Cemetery (Chişinău, Republic of Moldova) and shows, in a surprising way, the pre-death culture in this area. DOCAVIV in the only international film festival in Israel, that aims to promote documentary films from around the world. Every year, through the films selected in this festival, DOCAVIV presents to the public a wide range of perspectives and experiences. In 2011, the festival was attended by a public of 35.000 people.
The screening is scheduled for Monday, 7th of May 2012, 17:00 hrs, CIN 3 hall, Tel Aviv Cinematheque, 2 Shprinzak st. and it will be followed by Q&A with the film´s director Pavel Cuzuioc.
