The International Storytelling Festival will take place on October, 9-18, 2014 at the Givatayim Theatre. With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, this year’s edition of the festival will feature the comedy “Outdoor crooks” by Ion Baiesu, directed by Dan Tudor. The show is currently in the repertoire of the Mignon Theatre in Bucharest and its Israeli premiere will take place on October 16, 2014, at 18:00, at the Givatayim Theatre.

Ion Baiesu (Ion Mihalache, 1933-1992) is one of the most popular contemporary Romanian playwrights. His theatre shows have been adapted both for the main stage, as well as for the small screen. este unul dintre cei mai populari dramaturgi români contemporani. Most of his plays represent a satire of the Romanian society during the communist time. “Outdoor crooks” is a comedy in which the audience is introduced to different hilarious styles of seduction. A professional ladies man chooses the train platform as a place to exhibit his Don Juan skills.
