The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tokyo, in collaboration with the Romanian Embassy in Japan and the Union of Performing Musicians of Romania, is organizing two musical recitals to mark Romania’s National Day. The events will take place on November 27 and 28, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m., in the Banquet Hall of the Romanian Embassy in Japan and will feature pianist Mădălina Pașol and tenor Liviu Indricău. The program will include piano works by Dinu Lipatti and Eugen Doga, as well as works for piano and voice (tenor) by Dinu Lipatti and Tiberiu Brediceanu. The concerts will be moderated by musicologist Sebastian Gheorghiu, who will introduce the musicians and the musical works comprising the repertoire, and will deliver brief talks to the audience about the life and work of Dinu Lipatti, Eugen Doga, and Tiberiu Brediceanu.
