Electronic music tour in Japan, supported by ICR Tokyo and Night Defined Recordings

The record label Night Defined Recordings, in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute Tokyo, OST Music Fonds – Austrian Music Experts, the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport, and the Austrian-Japanese Forum, is organizing the Night Defined Recordings Tour in Japan, which will take place from June 1 to 16, 2025.

The tour brings together four artists from Europe, representing the contemporary electronic and experimental music scene:

Șerb (Romania) – music producer and performer from Bucharest, with over 15 years of artistic experience, active both in Romania and internationally

Mesak (Finland)

Jürgen Vonbank (Austria)

Rova (Austria)

During the tour, the artists will hold at least six events in locations across Tokyo, Kyoto, Kasai, and Osaka, taking place in clubs, music stores, and alternative spaces. The artistic program will include live electronic music performances and DJ sets, depending on the specifics of each venue.

Each evening will have its own artistic setup, allowing artists to perform both solo and in collaborative formats. This flexible approach ensures content adapted to each local context, highlighting aesthetic diversity, individual expressiveness, and the collective creativity of the artists involved.

The Night Defined Recordings tour in Japan showcases the potential of international cultural collaboration in contemporary music and helps promote artistic dialogue between Europe and Asia.

Event schedule:
  • Sunday, 01.06.2025: Shibasaki MOD Cultural and Arts Center, Tokyo
