A project of professional gymnasts, Xtreme is lead and trained by Dorel Mois, gymnast, international performer and former collaborator of Debra Brown, choreographer of Cirque de Soleil. At the boundary of art and acrobatics, Xtreme combines the elements of sport disciplines with dance and acrobacy. The result is spectacular and the possibilities of expression endless. The spatial limits are infirmed by the bodies of Xtreme acrobats. Street theater on an unconventionally stage: ignoring the gravity Xtreme performs on the façade of buildings. Their bodies become parallel with the ground and their feet are supported only by the improvised stage. The choreography combines ground acrobatic elements with modern dance.
The façade of the building and the bodies of the acrobats are, at the same time, the screen for an animated video (by Marilena Opris & Sorin Olexiuc). Everything is full of rhythm and the music completes the show.
