Radu Gabrea Retrospective at the "Jewish Eye" World Jewish Film Festival in Ashkelon (06 - 11.10.2013)

The "Jewish Eye" World Jewish Film Festival will take place in Ashkelon between October 6-11, 2013 at International Convention Center – Ashkelon Academic College. The festival will celebrate its 10th edition through an unique selection of films that tackle intriguing subjects (the history of the Jews, Jewish culture and identity), and that present or record in detail events which are less known to the public eye.
With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, director Radu Gabrea and producer Victoria Cociaş will be present at this year's edition of the festival.

The "Jewish Eye" Festival will open with the international premiere of the documentary Jews for sale, directed by Radu Gabrea. Also, during the "Radu Gabrea Restrospective" there will be screened the films Fear not, Jacob!, Searching for Schwartz, Gruber's Journey and The Beheaded Rooster. The screenings will be followed by a Q&A session with director Radu Gabrea and producer Victoria Cociaş.

The films will be screened at the International Convention Center –Ashkelon Academic College (12 Ben Zvi Rd., Ashkelon), with Hebrew subtitles.
