The International Master class and Zamboki Competition of Vocal Arts, organized by the Jerusalem Municipality, will take place between July 28th- August 3rd, 2015 at Louis and Tillie Alpert Youth Music Center and at Gerard Bechar Center in Jerusalem.With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, director Alexander Hausvater will participate at the event as a dramatic coach and will work with the students attending the program.

Alexander Hausvater has directed more than 200 theatre productions, musicals, opera and dance. He worked in over 30 countries and received numerous prizes and awards. He returned to his native land, Romania, where he worked with the most exciting companies. Among his shows in Romania are: “Handcuffs On The Flowers”, “Gypsy Women”, “Teibale And Her Demon”, “Roberto Zucco”, “The Cherry Orchard”, “Machiavelli”, “Mishima-5 Noh”, “Salome”, “Tree Of Tropics”, “Cymbeline”, “Faust And Don Juan”, “ Athene Palace Hotel”, “The Dracula Diaries”, “Frida Kahlomania”, “The Winter's Tale”, “Machinal. Judgement”, “Julius Caesar”.Alexander Hausvater has taught at the National Theatre School (Montreal), McGill University, University of Toronto, AnnArbour, Berkley, University of Winnipeg, Lunacharski Institute (Moscow).
The International Master class of Vocal Arts, organized by the Jerusalem Municipality, offers young, emerging and professional classical vocalists the opportunity to expand their vocal knowledge and stage experience in a week long summer course. Internationally acclaimed mentors will share their knowledge and expertise in a series of individual, open- to- the-public master classes. The fruits of the artistic collaboration will be celebrated in several concerts.
