Deadline: June 15, 2008 The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York is organizing an extraodinary concert at Merkin Hall, on November 4, 2008, an event promoting young Romanian musicians and composers. The concert is included in the Kauffman Center 2008/2009 season and it will be largely promoted in the american media.
Pianists Matei Varga, Andrei Licareţ, Bogdan Dulu, and cellist Laura Buruiană will perform together with other two musicians (violonist and soprano). The program will include works of young Romanian composers, aged up to 35 years old. The selection of the performed works will be made by the musicians.
