Focus on Romania @ East End Film Festiva

Witness a long-full weekend of award-winning films, panels & pioneering music, as we hook up with our friends from the East End Film Festival to put together a strong line-up of Romanian events. Some of today's most visionary film makers and musicians are coming to London to present their astoundingly successful projects.

A rare chance to meet Bogdan George Apetri, Monica Birladeanu, Marian Crisan, Mihai Fulger, Vlad Ivanov, Radu Muntean, Bobby Paunescu, Andrei Ujica, Ana Ularu, Urma and Nico de Transilvania.

Having won East End Film Festival's Best International Debut Feature award in 2010 for Francesca, filmmaker Bobby Paunescu is the director-in-residence at this year's edition, heading up a strand of programming that reflects the cinematic story of Romania. Village Underground will also host a cross-culture British/Romanian Transylmania blowout party with Romanian band Urma, Nico de Transilvania, VJ mash-ups by Addictive TV and Si Begg.
