The Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague in cooperation with Charles University International Club and the Romanian Studies Section of the Faculty of Arts at the Charles University in Prague organize the event Charles University students discover Romania on June 15th, in the premises of Charles University (Hybernská 3, Prague 1) at 5:00 p.m. This event aims at promoting Romanians' spiritual and traditional heritage among young audience.
The event will be a mixture of folklore music, traditional food and an interactive country presentation. The general presentation will be mingled with fun facts about Romanians and Romania. The event will consist of a Quiz section, based on the information material presented. Moreover, the correct answers will be rewarded.
The second part of the evening's program will be reserved for the traditional gastronomy and for the various forms of Romanian entertainment. Thus, the audience will have the occasion to taste traditional dishes, with an authentic folk music background.
This event revolves around the idea of Romanians' cultural representation among the youth audience in the Czech Republic by promoting national values, traditions and touristic trademarks.
