Earlier Bifrosts have gone to an Estonian doctor courageously working with AIDS and homosexual rights, Swedish Prime Minister Göran Persson for his work at interantioanl conferences on tolerance - mentioning the need to include all victims of the Holocaust including homosexuals, noted Swedes in parliament speaking out on behalf of the homosexual rights, Swedes defending the right of homosexuals to be parents and working to unveal the often hidden history of this part of the human rights struggle, and outspoken and daring Swedish film and theater director, Suzanne Osten, the Stockholm café&art gallery Aquéli and former Swedish Left party leader, Gudrun Schyman.
