1. Grants for professional translators

The grantees will have the opportunity of spending a period of one month and/or two months in Romania, a chance for them to have a direct contact with the Romanian literary environment as well as the works and authors they are envisaging in their proposals. Below, you can find a more detailed description of the two types of scholarships encapsulated by the Translators Grants Programme.

Deadline for submitting the applications: May 30th, 2016.

Annually, the Romanian Cultural Institute offers 10 scholarships destined for experienced professional translators that have the chance to spend one or two months (according to each of the candidates choice expressed within the application documents) in Romania conducting their translation work.
