A graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2002, Aneli Munteanu researches and processes chunks of life which define interhuman relationships, states of being, moments of joy and fear. Her most profound concerns take shape as paintings, drawings, multimedia installations, and animation. They are informed by journeys in poetry, philosophy, inner and outer scapes, and classic and contemporary music.

As our artist-in-residence, Aneli Munteanu will create a multimedia installation that combines painting, video and sound. The installation will explore concepts of fear, intimacy and propriety, as crucial elements which filter and shape human perceptions on self, the other and the world.
