Directed by: Julia Gruodienė, Rimantas Gruodis, Lithuania, 2009, 30 min., documentary / Czech subtitles

Documentary filmmakers Julija Gruodienė and Rimantas Gruodis bring us to a remote village in Lithuania. Separated from the surrounding world by a river, it forces the local folk to daily ferry their way to the opposite bank and then trudge the long journey to the nearest town. Through eloquent and visually striking footage, as well as the villagers' humorous commentary, the directors acquaint us with the local way of life whose rhythm is set by a river.
