The Embassy of Romania to the State of Israel and the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv are proud to invite you to the events celebrating Europe Day, organized by the European Forum on May 12th, 2014. Romania will be present at the events with a national stand open to the public between 11:30-16:30 at the Forum building of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The special guest of Romania at Eurofest is Minister Delegate for Romanians Abroad, Mr. Bogdan Stanoevici, who is on an official visit to the State of Israel between 11th and 13th of May. The Minister will be present at the stand from 12.30 and, starting with 13:15, he will participate at a round table discussion about Europe’s future in a globalized world starting.
At the stand, RCI Tel Aviv will present its programs, Romanian language courses and events for the current year, will distribute informative materials and will accept subscriptions to its data base and newsletter.
The Embassy of Romania in Israel will offer general information brochures and leaflets, and will bring to the attention of the Israeli students the various educational opportunities available in Romania, as well as the curriculum of the Romanian language Department at the Tel Aviv University.
Organized annually by the European Forum at the Hebrew University, Eurofest brings together students and staff for a celebration of Europe in its unity in diversity, exposing as many people as possible to the Member States of the European Union, their culture, history, politics, economics and more.
During the festival, every state participating at the events will be represented by a national stand and there will be organized round tables and conferences attended by the ambassadors of the European Union member states.
