“LIAR.”: How Truthful Are You? / New York, June 13-14, 2019

We continue our Romanian-American Theater Studio series with the highly enjoyable “LIAR.” – an immersive theater show that engages the audience in a game of self-exploration that aims to reveal, in the funniest way possible, the lies that form an inescapable part of our lives: little white lies, more or less personal “secrets”, big fat lies, half-truths a.s.o.

Devised by Ana Mărgineanu, Tamilla Woodard & Peca Ștefan and featuring an all American cast, the performance marries theatrical imagination with extensive research and will leave one wondering at life’s enormous capacity, and appetite, for mystification. Book soon as the show will only admit 40 participants – and that’s not a lie!

“Do you hate lying? do you avoid it at all costs? Or maybe you hate it but sometimes it’s really necessary… Or you just love it and do it all the time? Somewhere in the middle? Where do you position yourself on the LIAR. spectrum? Come play a game with us, and help us find out what does it mean to find truth when you are surrounded by lies.” – Ana Mărgineanu
