On December 1st, 2015, at 6 p.m., the Embassy of Romania in the Slovak Republic celebrated the National Day of Romania. During the reception offered by the diplomatic mission, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague organized a cultural programme consisting of traditional Romanian songs performed in a highly artistic manner by Romanian artists Andreea Chira (panpipes) and Robert Doran (keyboards).
The much appreciated event was attended by prominent members of the host country, diplomatic corps, central and local Slovak State officials, local businessmen and representatives of the Romanian community elite in Bratislava. Their presence and feedback confirmed the success of our continuous effort to enhance the visibility of the Romanian identity in the Slovak cultural environment as well as increase the local Romanian community coherence and provide it with spiritual strength.
