CROSSCUTS. Artist talk with Ioana Nemes: "On primitivism and why Excel cannot be trusted"
Three years after her first exhibition in New York City - Monthly Evaluations, at the invitation of RCINY, Ioana Nemes will inhabit again the gallery's space. Her presentation will focus on the artist's transition between various media and themes; and how traditional objects are now merging into her current visual discourse.

Romanian artist Ioana Nemeş has been invited to take part in this year's Volta NY international art fair with a sculpture & painting installation show that attempts to rebuild the bond between traditional Romanian objects and their lost magic/ritual potential. The exhibition is presented by Jiri Svestka Gallery (Prague). RCINY supports the artist's participation to Volta NY.
