The concert of the Marianske Lazne Symphonic Orchestra that took place on March 18, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., in the Casino Hall - Marianske Lazne, Czech Republic, was part of a series of events organized or supported by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague to celebrate the 135 years anniversary from the birth of George Enescu, a great Romanian composer.
The programme of the evening consisted of works by composers from Romania, The Republic of Moldova and Turkey:

Özcan Sönmez - Concert for violin and orchestra
Ghenadie Ciobanu - Visionary Moment , excerpt from the Concert for violin and orchestra
George Enescu - Suite No. 1, op. 9
The conductor Mihail Agafita, first conductor of the National Philharmonics in Chișinău, and the soloist Roman Fedchuk, talented violin player who emigrated from Bukovina (the Ukrainian part) to the Czech Republic, have offered an unforgettable evening to the audience, formed of musicians, musicologists, representatives of the academic field, students of the Music Academies, local cultural officials, cultural journalists, open public. The capacity of the Marble Hall is of approximately 500 seats.
