Days of European Film in Prague

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague supports the Romanian participation in this year's edition of the Days of European Film Festival,  with the film „Lumea e a mea", by Nicolae Constantin Tănase. The festival will take place between April 7-24, 2016, in Prague and Brno cinemas, followed by the DEF Echoes. The projection of the Romanian film is programmed on April 13, 2016, at 4:30 p.m., at the Lucerna cinema in Prague.

„Lumea e a mea" is a drama describing the year 2000 generation, with a focus on Larisa's story (actress Ana Maria Guran). Larisa, a young girl in Constanța expects a lot from life: money, power, popularity and respect. Now she is in love and she will do everything to obtain it all. The film is lively and bitter, alert and flamboyant, telling the story about a useless rebelion of the generation who thinks that being popular is measured by the number of Youtube views and Facebook likes.

During two weeks after the event, all the films in the festival program can be watched in other cities across Czech Republic, within the DEF Echoes.

The full program of the festival is available online: http://www.eurofilmfest.cz/en/.

Tickets can be purchased online on the official website of the festival.
