The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv is organizing between December 8-12, 2013 at Enav Cultural Center (71 Ibn Gvirol St., Gan Ha'Ir, Tel Aviv) a series of events dedicated to celebrating the National Day of Romania, as follows:
• December 8-12, 2013: "Portraits of people", an exhibition of traditional Romanian clothing and household items, displaying traditions from over 20 ethnic communities living in Romania. The event is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Romania, the "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum in Bucharest, Tarom, the Israeli Opera and GAP Israel.The exhibition is open to the public between December 8-12, 2013 at Enav Cultural Center.For details and visiting program: 03-5217763, http://enavcenter.co.il/
• December 10, 2013, 8 P.M.: Piano and opera concert Guest artists: Dika Philosoph, soprano – Israeli Opera, Tel Aviv, Andrei Licareț, pianist – Bucharest, Sofia Mazar, pianist – Tel Aviv.
The program will include works by: Ludwig van Beethoven, George Enescu, Frédéric Chopin, François Gounod, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini.
The concert will be followed by a cocktail.
