Premiere of the Romanian film Cinema, Mon Amour in Czech Republic

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague and Pink Productions distribution house invite you to the premiere of the Romanian film Cinema, Mon Amour, director Alexandru Belc. The event will take place on Monday, October 17th, 2016, at 8:00 p.m., in cinema Svetozor, Prague (Vodičkova 791/41, 110 00 Praha 1). Actors Victor Purice and Cosău Maria Lorena will be present. The Czech audience will hear their story about a reality in which the Romanian cinematography developed during the 20th century.

Cinema, Mon Amour presents Victor, a cinema director, who, together with his employees, Cornelia and Lorena, struggle every day in order to make an old cinema survive. And this in times when modern  elements start to destroy the authenticity of the Romanian cinema. The plot takes place in Cinema Dacia Panoramic, Piatra Neamț, Romania, where the main characters make huge efforts to maintain it and keep it working, as in the past. The director of the film,  Alexandru Belc, managed to depict very vividly the way that cinematography as a field transformed throughout the years.

Every cinema has a story - a tale of loneliness, friendship, hope and unfulfilled dreams.
