Delivered in partnership by Transylvania Trust (Romania), the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (UK), the National Office of Cultural Heritage (Hungary) and the Romanian Cultural Institute, the workshop aims to disseminate the findings of a 2-year heritage project developed in Bontida, Romania, about the role of the built heritage in the social integration and citizenship.
The workshop includes presentations by:
- Serban Cantacuzino, architect and chairman of Pro Patrimonio: Role of Partnership in Promoting Cultural Heritage in Romania
- Fejerdy Tamas, vice-president of the National Office of Cultural Heritage, Hungary: An Eastern-European Approach to the Integrated Protection of the Built Heritage
- David Baxter, European Projects Director IHBC, Csilla Hegedus, Executive Director Transylvania Trust, project directors: Presentation of the Disseminating know-how at European level and promoting good practice examples in using a built heritage site of European significance for the furtherance of social integration and citizenship.
Discussions led by Stephan Roman, Regional Director of British Council Western Europe and Americas will follow the event.
