New Romanian films "Morgen" and "Outbound" at Haifa International Film Festival. 13-22.10.2011

With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, the new Romanian cinema will debute two new director at the Haifa International Film Festival 2011 (27th edition)
- Morgen (2010, Romania, France, Hungary), 100 min, director Marian Crişan The debut feature of Marian Crişan, winner of four awards at Locarno Film Festival, among which the Special Prize of the Jury. Cast: Hathazi Andras, Yalcin Yilmaz and Elvira Rimbu. Romanian, Hungarian and Turkish language. Subtitles: English and Hebrew.
Synopsis: The film tells a story set at the Romanian-Hungarian border: Nelu, a supermarket security guard and passionate fisherman finds an illegal Kurdish immigrant hiding in the river near town and must decide what to do with him. - Outbound (2010, Romania), 87 min, director Bogdan George Apetri The debut feature of Bogdan George Apetri, presented at Locarno Festival and winner of the Debut prize at the Transylvania International Film Festival in Cluj-Napoca. Cast: Ana Ularu, Mimi Brănescu and Andi Vasluianu. Romanian language. Subtitles: English and Hebrew.
