The next artifact of our series comes from the heart of Romania, from Transylvania, and illustrates the golden era of the Roman province of Dacia. This fascinating object, on display at The National Museum of Transylvanian History in Cluj-Napoca, was once part of Emperor Caracalla's Statue in Porolissum, important military center defending the Northern frontiers of the Empire and the capital of one of the provinces that formed Roman Dacia. Text and video presentation by archaeologist and historian George Cupcea. Video concept by Geanina Simion and Dragoș Popa.
