„Flowers and landscapes” – drawings and watercolors by Livia Kessler. 3 February – 5 March 2015

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv presents the exhibition „Flowers and landscapes”, comprising drawings and watercolors by Livia Kessler, inspired by her trips in Romania.
The exhibition will be open to the public between February 3rd and March 5th, 2015, Monday to Thursday, from 10:00 to 15:00, at at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, 8 Shaul HaMelech Blvd., 6th floor.
Livia Kessler swas born in Romania. She studied “Sketching and Design” at the Los Angeles Technical College in California, U.S.A.; drawing and painting at the “Volkhochschulle” in Bonn, Germany with the painting artist Manfred Weill and I.Ogen. She participated in several art symposiums for the en plein air painting enthousiasts in Israel, Germany, USA (Hawaii and California) as well as in Romania. As a member of the ”Tzeva BaTeva – Color in Nature” art association, she organised and/or paricipated in several exhibitions in Israel, the most recent one being the exhibition dedicated to Romania’s National Day, „Romania and Israel in the Colors of Nature”, on show at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv starting the 1st of December 2014. Livia Kessler painted the covers of a few books published by “Persona” Publishers and several periodical publications in Israel.
