“eUrope Festival” Fair – celebrating Europe Day at Ben Gurion University. May 18th, 2015, 10:00-14:00

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv and The Embassy of Romania to the State of Israel are proud to invite you to the events celebrating Europe Day, organized by The Centre for the Study of European Politics and Society at Ben Gurion University on May 18, 2015.
Romania will be present at the events with a national stand within the “eUrope Festival” Fair, open to the public between 10:00-14:00 in the Ben Gurion University campus.

The Embassy of Romania in Israel will offer general information brochures and leaflets, and will bring to the attention of the Israeli students the various educational opportunities available in Romania, as well as the curriculum of the Romanian language Department at the Tel Aviv University.

Also, at the stand, RCI Tel Aviv will present its programs, Romanian language courses and events for the current year, will distribute informative materials and will accept subscriptions to its database and newsletter.

The program of the events:
“eUrope Festival” Fair – national stands from participating European states where the students will be introduced to the the touristic, educational and cultural opportunities of each country.
“Students Create” – a collection of works, such as jewelry, design objects, clothing, in a European style.
“Yourope”- photography exhibition encompassing photos taken by students under the theme “Europe from your point of view”.
The academic conference “Refugees and diversity in Europe”, organized by The Centre for the Study of European Politics and Society in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

The Centre for the Study of European Politics and Society (CSEPS) was established in 2003 at Ben Gurion University, in order to promote a greater awareness within Israel, of the growing importance of Europe and of the European Union. Since its establishment, CSEPS has strengthened its position as a leading European research and academic centre in Israel, through new initiatives and partnerships, both academic and institutional.
The annual Europe Day events organized by CSEPS offer the opportunity to over 20,000 Ben Gurion University students to be introduced to European study programs as well as European culture. The main goals of the event are to provide students with current information about European studies in Israel as well as postgraduate studies and student exchange programs in Europe.
As part of the center's program, the students are involved various activities including educational tours focused on European culture within Israel, internship programs, and meetings with European ambassadors and other key political figures.
