DUNAM - Fotography Exhibition by Yehudit Matzkel, Israeli artist of Romanian origin_27.08-31.10.2009

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv invites you, on August 27, 2009, 18:00 hrs, at the opening of the exhibition DUNAM, presenting photographs by the Israeli artist of Romanian origin Yehudit Matzkel.
Born in Romania in 1951, Yehudith Matzkel studied fine arts and photography at the Faculty of Arts, Tel Aviv University, at the Bat Yam Institute of Art and at the Department of Photography, Hamidrasha School of Art, Beit Berl College, Kfar Saba.
She has presented many personal exhibitions in museums and galleries from Israel, in cooperation with prestigious curators, she participated in international group exhibitions and her artworks are included in private or public collections in Israel and abroad. Until now, the artworks by Yehudit Matzkel were not presented in Romania.

DUNAM proposes a selection from the recent creations of the artist, a retrospective from the last ten years of her activity. The artworks show a series of nature images, landscapes almost untouched by human presence, a peaceful dialogue, a symbiosis between the nature and the objects secluded from the human daily life into the garden.

The exhibition will be open for the public between the 27th of August and the 31st of October, 2009, from Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 15:00 hrs, at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, 8 Shaul Hamelech Blvd, 6th floor.
