International Mahler Orchestra Concert

The Romanian Cultural Institute in London supports The International Mahler Orchestra's concert at St. John's, Smith Square.

The International Mahler Orchestra was founded in 2006 by Yoel H. Gamzou and is based in London. It aspires to unite some of the world's most promising young talents with experienced and world-famous players from major European orchestras.

Romanian musicians Manuela Mocanu and Alexandra Ursache (viola students at "George Enescu" Arts University in Iasi) have been invited to take part in this project and have the wonderful oportunity to perform with outstanding musicians Guy Braunstein (violin) - Berlin Philharmonic's concertmaster and Yoel Gamzou - conductor.

  • L. van Beethoven - Egmont Overture
  • M. Bruch - Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor
  • J. Brahms - Symphony No. 4 in E minor
