This programme proposes as a primary goal training as well as promoting language translators already specializing in Romanian literature that come from diverse linguistic spaces. Apart from the stated priority, the Translators Scholarships Programme aims at providing continuity in the collaboration with the already acclaimed professional translators as well as translators having a consistent background in working with Romanian literature. The grantees will have the opportunity of spending a period of one month and/or two months in Romania, a chance for them to have a direct contact with the Romanian literary environment as well as the works and authors they are envisaging in their proposals.
