The proposed course intends to provide a setting for optimal interaction of young researchers from Romania and neighboring countries with top experts in the field of non-invasive biophysical techniques currently used or just developing for use in biological and medical research. During lectures, tutorial seminars and poster discussion with the participants, a research training of high level will be performed, due to the modern topics as well as to the lecturers, many of whom are architects of the discussed domains. The main topics will concern the biotechnological and clinical applications of dielectrophoresis, electropermeabilization and NMR spectroscopy, up to date optical methods of diagnosis and therapy (including photodynamic therapy), principles of the developing method of organ printing as well as more basic phenomena related to thermal motion and its role in "meeting" of key cell molecular compounds. Conference location in a seashore resort hotel (Hotel President) which contains all conference and living facilities, offers excellent opportunities for spending time together during informal activities such as meals, walks and informal discussion.
