World Market - food and culture is organized by the Prague 6 City Hall and will take place on June 4, 2016, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. , in Vitezne Square. The Romanian stand is organized by the Embassy of Romania to the Czech Republic, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague and the Association of Romanians in the Czech Republic.
The event aims at presenting the culture and the gastronomy of all the states represented by diplomatic missions in the Czech Republic, and will involve various cultural activites such as: theatre performances, dance, music, traditional food, etc. Mister Ondřej Kolář, Mayor of Prague 6, will attend the official opening that will take place at 10:30 a.m.
Romanian traditional dishes and different varieties of wine will be served at the national stand. Moreover, the audience will have the opportunity to discover the Romanian cultural dimension through the promotional materials prepared for this occasion.
