2009 Palm Springs International Film Festival presents "The Rest is Silence", directed by Nae Caranfil
Following its international success in 2008, Nae Caranfil's latest film, "The Rest is Silence" (Restul e tacere), Romania's official entry for the Best Foreign Film category of the 2009 Oscars, the American Film Academy Awards, was selected by the prestigious Palm Springs International Film Festival, in the Awards Buzz category.
With RCINY support, director Nae Caranfil will present the film to American critics, journalists and audiences, and also participate to the film screenings, followed by a Q&A session, on FRI, January 16, 6:30 pm & SAT, January 17, 1:30 pm.
Another Romanian film, Adrian Sitaru's debut feature "Hooked" (Pescuit sportiv), was selected by the Palm Springs International Film Festival and will be screened on FRI, January 9, 12:30 pm & MON, January 12, 7 pm. More details about the event here.
