Romanian Films at Toronto Film Festival

Three Romanian films have been selected for presentation this year at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival: POLICE, ADJECTIVE, by Corneliu Porumboiu (this year's winner of the Grand Jury Award and the FIPRESCI Award of the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival); TALES FROM THE GOLDEN AGE, co-written and co-directed by Cristian Mungiu; and THE HAPPIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD, by Radu Jude.
The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York supports the screening of TALES FROM THE GOLDEN AGE, as well as the participation of Cristian Mungiu, and of Ada Solomon (producer of "The Happiest Girl in the World") to the festival.
