The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv is honoured to invite you between the 6th of March and the 26th of April, to visit the exhibition „The Ages of Beauty”, comprising paintings and prints by Miriam Cojocaru. The pictures reveal feminity in different stages of life.
Miriam Cojocaru was a researcher and lecturer at the Chemistry Faculty of Bar Ilan University. She studied art at Tel Aviv University and Bar Ilan University, as well as the art institutes Avni and Meimad. She also studied painting and drawing in the studios of Israeli artists Tzwi Tadmor, Jan Rauchwerger and Ira Reichwerger.
Her artworks are remarkably vivid and fresh, with strong but refined colors and brush strokes, revealing her strong artistic personality. In the contemporary silhouettes in her pictures, we can identify biblical characters such as Miriam and Ruth, Dvora and Yael, Ester and Iudith.
The exhibition will be open for the public from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 15:00 hrs.
