We are content to partner with the reputed Seattle International Film Festival(May 11-21) for the presentation of one of Romanian cinema’s most recent triumphs, the chilling and mysterious "To the North", helmed by Mihai Mincan. The film will be shown at the AMC Pacific Place on May 13 and 14 as part of the "Contemporary World Cinema” section of the Festival. "To the North" (2022) is a harrowing maritime thriller about a Filipino worker on a freight ship who discovers a Romanian stowaway on board. Believing it is a sign from God, the worker helps the young man hide from the Taiwanese officers' intent on quashing any sign of danger.
