This year, on 5 May, EUNIC London organises, on the occasion of Europe Day, a festival entitled Visit Europe in One Day – Cultural Showcase. The festival is inspired by similar events held in Brussels and Strasbourg and brings together European and British partners for a shared celebration. Participants exhibiting at the festival include EUNIC members, embassies of European Union member states, European organizations based in London, as well as representatives of the cultural scene and the London academic community. The stands will offer visitors a comprehensive experience, showcasing each country’s cultural values, artistic creations, tourist attractions, and culinary delights. Each stand is designed to encourage direct interaction with the public through informational materials, demonstrations, and interactive activities, thereby contributing to the strengthening of European cultural dialogue. To make the visit an interactive experience, participants will receive a passport at the entrance, which will be stamped at each stand they visit. Throughout the day, the program will feature a variety of performances and demonstrations.
RCI London and the Romanian Embassy in London will participate in the festival this year with a stand dedicated to presenting the cultural and tourist heritage of Romania. Additionally, the ICR London team, in collaboration with the embassy team, will develop a series of games and interactive materials aimed at stimulating the interest and engagement of students attending the event.
