As one of the most popular and talented Israeli musicians, Yair Dalal has been invited to participate in major international projects, that took place on worldwide, famous stages. In his concerts, he often incorporates, to the oud and the violin, his main instruments, his vocal performance. He will be accompanied during his performance by the skilled percussionist Erez Monk.
Trei Parale is a Romanian band that is promoting a genre of traditional Romanian music, with various ethnic influences (Jewish, Armenian, Turkish, Greek etc.). The musicians make use of traditional instruments, in order to bring to the attention of the audience the roots of the genuine Romanian music. Band members: Florin Iordan, the leader of the group (pipes, kobsa), Daniel Pop (vocals, pipes, percussion, Jew’s harp), Beatrice Iordan (vocals, kobsa) şi Dinu Petrescu (percussion).
The concert at „The Culture of Peace” Festival is an initiative of Yair Dalal.
Apart from their presence in „The Culture of Peace” Festival, Trei Parale Band will give a recital in Jerusalem, at the Music Hall of the Ramat Eshkol City Library, on May 24, at 8 p.m. The show will be presented by: Mircea Cantacuzino.
The performances are taking place with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv.
