programmes make 1 Belgrave Square the main address of the Romanian
culture in London, a residence of our best artists, concerts, films and
books. The Enescu Concerts SeriesThe Enescu Concerts Series,
jointly organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute and the Enescu
Society, aims to promote the music of the greatest Romanian composer to

Institute and the Society also award a one-year scholarship to a music
student of outstanding talent. The concerts are given by outstanding
Romanian and international musicians and usually take place on the first
Thursday of the month, from February to December (but not August and
September) in the Institute’s chamber music hall in Belgrave Square. The
Institute also awards the annual “Enescu Society” Scholarship to a
student at the Royal Academy of Music, our partner in the project.
