After a meteoric rise on the Romanian, and later European jazz scene, the charismatic trio JazzyBIT, made up of Teodor Pop (piano, keys), Mihai Moldoveanu (bass) and Szabó Csongor Zsolt (drums), whose irresistible formula forges together rock, funk, latin jazz and even rap, is ready to embark on its first American tour. The wonder boys of Timișoara, the birthplace of Romania’s postwar music revolution, will kick off the European Sounds Series of the famous Blue Note Jazz Festival on June the 1st and will perform in well-known jazz clubs in New York and Philadelphia.
