On 21 September 2007 directors of 11 national institutes & centres in London have set up the EUNIC London cluster. The new network operates within the umbrella organisation EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) and aims to create a cohesive group committed to sharing knowledge and resources and developing joint projects which enhance the visibility in the UK of the European arts, culture and linguistic diversity.
EUNIC London has taken shape in a 'natural' way, based on the experience & partnership spirit shared by many cultural institutes in London through previous partnership projects. EUNIC London has 11 members to start with and is open to work collaboratively with other interested organizations.

Gabriela Massaci was elected President of EUNIC London and she will work closely with Dr Roland Goll and Johannes Wimmer, Vice-Presidents of EUNIC's first year in London.
The team is already engaged in developing a joint European arts project this year, with more plans to come. Watch this space!
