
With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, the electro-fusion band Crowd Control will be present in Israel to perform a concert at the Moadon Ashan Hazman (17 Anielewicz St.) in the Old City of Beer Sheva on June 24th, at 22:00.
Free entrance, the number of seats is limited.
In the same time, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv will be hosting, between June 23rd -July 23rd, 2016, the collage exhibition "Loud Blood Youth" by Romanian photographer Cristiana Bucureci. The exhibition includes the cover-art for the newest Crowd Control album, "Loud Blood Youth", as well as other works inspired by the most recent songs of the band. On June 23rd there will be a gallery talk at the institute (8 Shaul HaMelech Blvd., 6th floor, Tel Aviv) in the presence of the artist, Cristiana Bucureci.
The exhibition is open to the public Monday - Thursday 10:00 - 16:00 hrs at Romanian Cultural Institute, Tel Aviv, 8 Shaul Hamelech blvd., 6th floor.
Crowd Control is a three-piece Bucharest based sonic project. Their live performance translates into a journey at the very thin borders of social manifesto, indietronica, 8-bit music and dub.
The current bandmembers are: Intimidatah - vocals, spoken-word, Răzvanescu - synthers, piano and Coshmelin - drums and percussion.
The trio has released two independent EP's, GAME OVER & SELECT START, and a third, LOADING PLEASE, with the international label Dubkraft/ False Flag Operation. This is a trilogy inspired by 8-bit art and video games. Their portfolio of releases also includes a remixes album GAME OVER REMIXED (on which DJ Undoo, Elektromekanik & Indie Jules shine) and a debut live LP - GAME START PLEASE.
Crowd Control have shared the stage with eclectic bands and artists such as: Rodion G.A., Electric Brother, Samanul Mut, Travka, SHESDEAD, Baba Dochia, Fine It's Pink, Temple Invisible, Iordache, Harlequin_Jack, Violent Monkey, Poetrip, Brother Tzuc, Indie Jules, Moebius, Eddie Neuman, Inward String, Calin and the Alien Orchestra. Their performances are a multimedia experience that fuses music with engaging visuals. Occasionally live gaming is added to the mix for a full-fledged experience.
The newest Crowd Control EP, LOADING PLEASE has reached number one in the iTunes Alternative Releases Chart, a premiere for a Romanian act. At the same time one of the extended plays singles, Brixton Riot has reached as far as number 40 in the eclecticfm Chart - Best releases of 2014, with the EP itself being ranked at Top 10 Must Hear Albums of 2014.
