The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv has the pleasure to invite you, between August 11th and 23rd 2014, to the 39th edition of the "Khutsot Hayotser" Jerusalem International Arts&Crafts Fair. The Romanian stand will present information about traditional arts&crafts, in cooperation with the Museum of the Romanian Peasant and “Dimitrie Gusti” Village Museum in Bucharest and with the support of the Embassy of Romania to the State of Israel and TAROM Romanian Air Transport.
The "Khutsot Hayotser" Jerusalem International Arts&Crafts Fair is the largest and most important event of its kind organized in Israel, each edition bringing together more than 150 Israeli artists and 30-40 international stands, that display handicraft objects made using the most diverse techniques, from the traditional ones to the modern manufacturing technologies, limited series or one-of-a-kind products. Also, during the fair there are organized workshops, live demonstrations as well as music, dance and unconventional theatre performances, together with an international culinary festival. The event is very appreciated by the Israeli public, the approximate number of visitors for each edition being 100.000.
Location: Jerusalem, in the touristic zone near the Old City: the „Khutsot Hayotser” Arts and Crafts Center, Mitchell Gardens and the Merrill Hassenfeld Amphitheater in the Sultan’s Pool.
Visiting hours: Sunday-Thursday from 18:00 to 23:00 and Saturday from 20:00-24:00.
