Between the 10th of June and the 15th of September, 2013, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv is hosting an exhibition of paintings by the artist and art historian prof. Haim Maor. It is a continuation of the project “The Spirit of Săpânța”, previously itinerated in Israel between February 16 and June 1, 2013.This event is part of the series of projects dedicated to the Romanian culture by Israeli artists and art historians.
Prof. Haim Maor will present Săpânța from the perspective of contemporary art, will demonstrate the link between the folklore and the contemporary individual and will explain the Romanian folklore to the Tel Aviv public.
The opening event took place place on Thursday, the 4th of July, 17:00, with the participation of Mr. Zeev Schwartz, president of Hitachdut Olei Romania (H.O.R.)
The exhibition is open to the public Monday to Thursday, 10:00 – 15:00 hrs., at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, 8 Shaul Hamelech Blvd., 6th Floor.
