Forumul Patrimoniului Europei Centrale este o conferință care are loc o dată la doi ani la care participă specialiști din Europa Centrală, dar și specialiști din întreaga lume care se preocupă de această tematică.
Din România, la conferință participa doamna Florentina Tănase de la Asociația pentru Promovarea Culturii și Responsabilității Civice, cu comunicarea intitulată The Importance of the Contemporary Art in Promotion of the Immovable Cultural Heritage in Romania.
FlorentinaTănase holds MA in Cultural Marketing and Management from the Caragiale Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest (2016). In 2015 she participated in the international conference Theater and Spectatorship held by CDE Association and also in the cultural management summer school held by University of Rijeka, Croatia. In 2016 she organised the international conference The Importance of Contemporary Arts in Promotion of the Immovable Cultural Heritage in Romania. She is especially interested in the interactive method of promoting the immovable cultural heritage through contemporary art productions.

The papers aims to reveal how contemporary arts productions have become an important method in promoting the immovable cultural heritage in Romania. These kind of projects hosted in historical buildings in cities like Bucharest are translating the meaning of local history into the modern language for the contemporary spectator. The public of these performing art productions is a “choreographic community” in which no one remains a static spectator, as Rancičre wrote in his work The Emancipated Spectator. As a result, these projects are contributing to a profound understanding of history’s importance for our national value system by the public, which makes them able to take further action in order to preserve and promote this immovable cultural heritage. The case study is focusing on several cultural projects developed in Bucharest such as: “Nostalgia 53” (theatre), “SoNoRo” Music Festival, “The Night of Houses” (perfomative productions).
