With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, Vitrina Gallery of the Holon Institute of Technology presented DesignR 30, an exhibition presenting major design projects from 1920s and 1930s Romania. The selection presents Romanian contributions to the world design patrimony, such as the first aerodynamic automobile in the World, created by eng. Aurel Perșu in 1923, planes by George G. Fernic and other projects. Curator: designer Radu Teodorescu, a professor at the Design department of the National Art University in Bucharest.

In the field of Design, Romania has an impressive background, such as creations from the interwar period design and interesting design solutions from the following decades. Some designers graduated from Romania are nowadays very successful in the Western Europe and the United States.
