"Beatrice von Babel works through a consciously assumed freedom, taking on new faces and forms each time, using languages adapted to the environment that she inhabits through her activities. BvB is a living organism, whose vitality can be intuited from previous manifestations, but never fully anticipated or known, as long as the unfolding of time and the relationships between artists, things and phenomena is endless.

Even when the excitement of the activity is underground, as in the Vaulted Hall at ARCUB Bucharest (April 1-30, 2023), or apparently imperceptible, as in the case of the Știlstand exhibition at the Craiova Art Museum (03.03-04.09.2023), the dynamism of the exhibitions is magnetising. At the French Institute in Bucharest (27.04–08.05.2023) the connections between creators so different in terms of origin, style, generation, draw the viewer into a whirlwind of impressions and experiences to which each brings their own subjective contribution.

These collective constructions are flexible and reflect the complex nature of spontaneous communities, where freedom of expression confronts professional rigor, and creatively unleashed potential with the sensitivity and coherence of reason. Visitors are integrated from the very beginning through the malleability of developing exhibitions, which accumulate individual ideas and imaginations, gradually added to installations and workshops.

Performances with interrelated movement and sound define the fluidity characteristic of BvB artist meetings, the climaxes become common denominators of the participants, without distinction between performers and audience.

At Palazzo Correr of the IRCRU Venezia, Beatrice von Babel aesthetically occupies and lives through painting in progress within the space called the Piccola Galleria, during the period 21.04-7.05.2023.

Painting as performance, a form of manifestation in situ in the presence of the public, reproduces the mental flow that integrates elements from the unmediated actuality, creating a wave of emotion and sensory perception shared with passers-by and visitors. Students from the Academy of Art and the Conservatory of Music in Venice are invited to participate in the ever-changing installation and metamorphosis of the space."
