The EUNIC China Film Festival 2024 brings to the Chinese audience a series of inspirational stories about the determination and perseverance of individuals with disabilities or mental challenges and their families. The selection includes 14 feature films and 5 short films from 13 countries, covering a wide range of subjects and genres (comedy, adventure, historical drama, sports, documentary, etc.). These films have been screened since June and will continue through December, offering audiences the opportunity to experience exceptional cinematic productions while contributing to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families, both socially and globally. As part of this festival, ICR Beijing participated with the documentary "Us Against Us," directed by Andra Tarara, which was screened at Galaxy SOHO on July 11 and during the European Film Festival - Screening and Symposium at UCCA 798 Art District on November 1 and 3. In parallel with the EUNIC China Film Festival 2024, additional cultural events were held, including live performances, exhibitions, and disability-related activities, organized by cultural clusters in China in collaboration with local partners (private galleries, libraries, unions, and associations for people with disabilities).
